About the Webinar
In this webinar, participants learned how the SAFE (Seatbelts Are For Everyone) program grew into an initiative that is now in more than 150 Kansas schools. Attendees also learned about the two-day Kansas Teen Transportation Safety Conference, including tips on how to create, develop, organize, plan, and promote a teen traffic safety event.

Speaker
Laura Moore is a traffic safety specialist and Kansas SAFE coordinator with the Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office branch of DCCCA, where she’s worked since February 2008. Laura played a large role in taking the SAFE program across Kansas and into other states. She assisted with the growth, success, and national recognition of SAFE and continues to be as passionate about it today as she was in the beginning. Laura spends each day doing her best to ensure that Kansas teens know that Seatbelts Are For Everyone. Laura holds a BS in family studies & human service from Kansas State University. She and her husband have two boys.
